AAP ki Baat!

As AAP runs the trial of being written off, I ask myself to recall why I supported this party. I did not know AK or Yogendra Yadav then and neither now. I supported this party and voted for them to help build up an ALTERNATIVE national party for my country. To ensure that we remain proud of India being the greatest Democracy in the world with a majority community that will always have to honour the marginalised and the minorities.

I returned home yday after a week in one of the world’s most developed countries. They too have minorities who do not enjoy the best of life as the majority. But, all have the same opportunity on rights basis. What differentiates one from the other is the economic handle each person has to operate the opportunity machine. I trust that India is hopefully getting a govt that can provide this Opportunity handle to most in our country. In 5 or 10 yrs time we should be nearer in status to another developed country where a party like AAP remains even more relevant to check the greedy and protect the needy, despite their development.

Yes, the AAP leadership needs to learn better how not only to Govern but also to keep their flock together.

As for me, I don’t need AAP leadership to tell me why India needs AAP to develop into a vibrant national alternative. I will keep supporting such a party irrespective of their few leaders behaving like headless chickens, since my country needs them for the long run. I respected the Gopinaths and Balas for joining AAP. Disappointed that they lost faith in their own faith in the AAP principle so early. Maybe that’s why Gopi has been a serial entrepreneur. Leaders are made of different mettle!
